Final Steps to Bolivian Citizenship

We decided that surely the ID cards would be finished in 3 weeks, even though we were assured that it would only take 10 days, so we purchased tickets to the States and saw God's hand leading in every way. On Monday morning, we told the lawyer in SEGIP that we needed the cards that day as we were leaving the following evening. He looked a little worried and sent us across town to the SERECI office where he was convinced the problem lay. Well, there was no problem there and when we returned to SEGIP, he looked a little frantic and told us to come back Tuesday morning, assuring us that the paperwork would be finished in order to get ID cards.

We believe God intervened and we spent most of Tuesday in SEGIP getting our ID cards. Now we have them in hand!!! We had a few short hours to do the final packing and were on our way to the airport Tuesday evening last week, clearing immigration quickly and easily as "Bolivians."

Airplane Progress

N118AK has been delivered to a friend's hangar in Vermont. DJ and Bill (his mentor instructor of 16 years) are working to install the necessary equipment and small modifications that the plane still needs. DJ just keeps saying that the plane was custom built for our mission profile. It's awesome to see how God has been putting the pieces together long before we even knew anything about it! More on the super cub in our next update :D.
